Bookings

A booking is confirmed when we agree the service, price, location, date and time with you.

We will do our best to attend at the agreed time, but arrival times may be affected by traffic, weather, previous jobs, access issues or other delays outside our control.

If we need to rearrange a booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Customer Responsibilities

Before we arrive, please make sure:

  1. We have clear access to the area being cleaned
  2. Vehicles, furniture, plant pots and personal items are moved where needed
  3. Windows and doors are closed
  4. Pets and children are kept away from the working area
  5. Any known fragile, damaged or sensitive surfaces are pointed out before work begins
  6. Water access is available where required
  7. Electrical access is available where required
  8. Parking or access instructions are provided in advance

If we cannot complete the job because access is unavailable or the area is not ready, the booking may need to be rearranged.

Surface Condition and Cleaning Results

We aim to achieve the best possible result using a suitable cleaning method for the surface and condition.

Results can vary depending on:

  1. Surface type
  2. Surface age
  3. Existing damage
  4. Previous treatments or sealants
  5. Deep staining
  6. Oil, rust or paint marks
  7. Long-term algae or moss growth
  8. Weathering
  9. Drainage and access
  10. How long the build-up has been present

Some stains, marks or discolouration may not be fully removable. We cannot guarantee that every surface will return to its original condition.

Delicate or Damaged Surfaces

Some surfaces may already be worn, loose, cracked, weakened, poorly laid, previously damaged or affected by age.

This may include:

  5. Fragile brickwork

  7. Worn render
  8. Loose roof tiles
  9. Damaged gutters
  10. Poor drainage areas

We will take reasonable care when cleaning, but we are not responsible for pre-existing damage or issues that become visible once dirt, moss or debris has been removed.

Weather and Safety

Exterior cleaning may be affected by weather conditions.

We may need to postpone or rearrange work due to:

  1. Heavy rain
  2. Strong wind
  3. Freezing conditions
  4. Unsafe roof or ladder access

Payment terms will be confirmed before work begins.

Payment may be required:

  1. On completion of the service
  2. Before the service for certain bookings
  3. By bank transfer, cash or another agreed method

Payment should be made promptly according to the agreed terms.

If payment is late, we may contact you to request payment. Any additional charges for late payment will be reasonable and in line with applicable law.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or rearrange a booking, please contact us as soon as possible.

We understand that plans can change, but short-notice cancellations may affect scheduling and availability.

If work has already started, materials have been prepared, travel has taken place or costs have already been incurred, you may be charged a reasonable amount for the work or costs involved.

If Crown Clean London needs to cancel or rearrange a booking, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Consumer Cancellation Rights

If you are a consumer and book a service remotely, such as by phone, email, message or online form, you may have cancellation rights under consumer law.

If you ask us to begin work before any cancellation period ends, and the service has already started or been completed, your right to cancel may be affected.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights.

Photos and Media

You may send photos to help us assess the job and provide a quote.

We use customer photos for quote, booking and service purposes.

We will not publish your photos on our website, gallery, social media or marketing materials without permission.

If we would like to use before-and-after photos for marketing, we will ask for permission first.

Access, Parking and Property Rules

You are responsible for making sure we have permission to access and clean the relevant area.

For flats, managed buildings, rented properties or commercial premises, you may need permission from the landlord, property manager, freeholder, building manager or business owner before work can take place.

You should tell us in advance about any parking restrictions, access codes, permits, building rules or time restrictions.

Emergency Drain Unblocking

Emergency drain unblocking services are provided where suitable access is available and the issue can be safely assessed.

Some drainage issues may require specialist drainage equipment, CCTV inspection, repairs or third-party contractors. If the issue cannot be resolved with the service available, we will explain the situation and advise on next steps where possible.

We do not guarantee that every blockage can be cleared.

Complaints and Concerns

If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can review the issue.

Please include:

  1. Your name
  2. Service address
  3. Date of service
  4. Photos if relevant
  5. A clear explanation of the concern

We will review the matter and respond as soon as reasonably possible.
